GSS has written interfaces to most major wholesalers in the U.S. These interfaces allow transmission of retail changes to the AS/400wholesaler, and reception of costs and invoices from the wholesaler. CONNEX / 400 Asynchronous Communications Utilities for the AS/400

Connex/400 is a communications system that allows file transfers to/from remote locations and an AS/400 using standard XMODEM/YMODEM/ZMODEM async protocols. The Connex/400 software allows the AS/400 to communicate directly to all major PC communications packages, and allows simultaneous, unattended file transfers using multiple lines on the AS/400. Connex/400 includes script commands that allow the user to customize log on and transfer requests for unattended file transfers. The software includes sample scripts for tranferring files automatically to/from PCs' running ProComm Plus. The Connex/400 script commands are executed directly from within a CL program. Connex/400 software drives file transfers at the full speed of your Hayes compatible modem (up to 19.2 KB), and includes on-line character and record translation. AS/400 hardware requirements are: one or more available comm lines, a Hayes compatible modem for each comm line to be used (the IBM ECS modem can be used), and a conventional phone line within proximity of each communication line to be used. Current pricing for Connex/400 software is $2500.00 and includes free upgrades for the first year after purchase. A demonstration version of Connex/400 can be sent directly from our AS/400 to either a PC in your office or to your AS/400.
